Stop Doing Stupid Stuff in the Gym - Start the New Year Right ...

By Katalin Rodriguez Ogren, December 30, 2012 at 10:57 am

Whether you have been working out up until the end of 2012 or promising to visit the gym in the first few weeks of 2013, we welcome you back!? But please stop doing stupid things in the gym.? Gym managers, owners and trainers cannot believe how some people just do the dumbest and rudest things in the gym.??? Now there are two categories of stupid things I am going to address: 1.) things that are just rude, and 2) the most foolish workout habits.

It?s Just Rude:

  • Don?t blow your nose in your towel and then throw your towel on the ground or a bench.? Do not reuse it, do not wipe down any piece of equipment with it.? Get rid of it and use a Kleenex next time.
  • If you know you are a sweater and you have dripped all over a piece of equipment, clean it up.? It isn?t about your germs.? Everyone leaves germs behind, but it is gross and not safe.? Dry the equipment.? And, yes do it on every piece of equipment you use.
  • When someone is standing close to the mirror watching their movement while clearly doing an exercise, do not keep walking in front of them.? Go around.? The only exception is if you need to rack your weights immediately, exactly where they are standing.? Otherwise, you could just wait.? Even a set of 12 reps takes about 30 seconds.
  • If your gym has a standard 6-foot bench, you do not need to hog the whole thing.? Your crap does not need to be spread across the entire bench.
  • When you are naked in the locker room use a towel or one of your own personal items to sit bare-bottomed on the bench.? And please don?t straddle the bench naked.? If this is the only way you know how to put on underwear, I encourage you to practice at home another method.? There are many clever ways to slide your underpants on without your privates ever touching the actual locker room bench.
  • Say hello and good-bye to the people working the front desk.? Check in like you are supposed to.? Don?t scam and try to skip by without being noticed.? It?s a total dick move.
  • If you knock over your muscle milk or water bottle (it happens), clean it up properly and let the front desk know.? Don?t grab the entire box of tissue and drop sheets on the floor, as if it magically soaks it all up and then throws itself away in the garbage.?? If you do not have a towel you can use to begin the clean up process, ask the front desk for some rags.? Return to the scene of the accident (which is no biggie BTW), and offer to help.? If they cordially, say do not worry about it (which they most likely will), because they will clean it up, say thank you.
  • If you just smoked right before you walked into a gym, remember that everyone can smell it.? It really does suck for people exercising that you have dragged this smell and the lingering smoke scent that is on your clothes into the gym.? You need to find a way to cleanse your clothes.

Stupid Things People Do at the Gym:

  • Do not begin your workout with bicep curls.? This is a clear sign you have no idea what you are doing.?? The ?gun show? will not come with an endless number of bicep curls.? Start your training with multi-joint movements.? Squats, lunges, leg press, something hard that will serve your whole body.? If you can?t think of anything else, ask for help.
  • So you are into large muscle group exercises.? Me too.? Leg press is a great way to start out your core workout.? But do not load a leg press with a dozen plates, do a couple of reps, slam and rack, and then walk away.? Take your own f**king plates off the press.?? Gym employees are not your mama, put your own toys away!
  • Hey! Tom Cruise, Don?t wear your sunglasses when working out.? It?s not Venice Beach.
  • We all have clumsy moments.? But if you are running on the treadmill and drop something, like your ipod, iphone or water bottle, STOP while FACING FORWARD, GRIP the HANDRAILS, THEN STEP OFF and TURN AROUND. ?Say it again to yourself.

? STOP while FACING FORWARD

? ? ? ? ? ? ? GRIP the HANDRAILS

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?THEN STEP OFF and TURN AROUND

Although someone will get a good chuckle out it, no one wants to see you get hurt.? And, you certainly do not need more reasons why you can?t ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?workout for awhile.

  • I understand that most gyms are limited in space.? It is great when there is a designated AB and flexibility area, which is separated from the functional/dynamic training space.? But in many gyms this space is shared.?? If you are about to do plyometrics, kettlebell swings or sand bags throws, do not do it next to someone laying on the floor stretching or doing crunches.? First, they don?t need your crotch lowering down over their head, and second, they were there first.? You shouldn?t be swinging or slamming anything close to a person lying on the ground.?? Negotiate the space by either asking if they could move over or keep yourself busy doing something else and hold off a few minutes.? You could always hang out in a plank.
  • If your workout sounds resemble porn sounds effects, tape your mouth shut.? I can tolerate a few grunts here and there, but seriously, no one needs to hear that.? This is another thing you can practice at home before doing it at the gym.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? Democrats and Republicans say signs of progress are emerging in urgent negotiations to avert the looming 'fiscal cliff' ahead of a midnight deadline.

A person familiar with the negotiations says Democrats have offered to extend tax cuts for families making up to $450,000 a year and individuals making up to $400,000. President Barack Obama originally wanted the tax cuts to be extended only for families making up to $250,000 a year.

Unless an agreement is reached and approved by Congress by the start of New Year's Day, more than $500 billion in 2013 tax increases will begin to take effect and $109 billion will be carved from defense and domestic programs

The person familiar with the talks requested anonymity in order to discuss the internal negotiations.

UPDATED ? Former President Bush moved out of intensive care

HOUSTON ? Former President George H.W. Bush?s condition continued to improve Saturday, prompting doctors to move him out of intensive care, a spokesman said.

?President Bush?s condition has improved, so he has been moved today from the intensive care unit to a regular patient room at The Methodist Hospital to continue his recovery,? family spokesman Jim McGrath said Saturday. ?The Bushes thank everyone for their prayers and good wishes.?

Bush was hospitalized Nov. 23 for treatment of a bronchitis-related cough. He was moved to intensive care at the Houston hospital on Dec. 23 after he developed a fever.

On Friday, McGrath said Bush had improved since arriving in the ICU. He said he was alert and in good spirits and was even doing some singing.

McGrath said Saturday morning that future updates on Bush?s condition would be made as warranted.

Bush, the 41st president, is the country?s oldest living former president.

Signs and Treatment of Ovarian Cancer | Cervical dysplasia ...

Cancer is a very efficient and skilled silent killer. There are various types of cancer in fact, and these cancers are nothing but a condition in which the cells multiply in an uncontrollable manner forming masses of cells called tumors.

Ovarian cancer is associated with women and it is a very dangerous situation. Ovaries are the most important reproductive organ in any women. These ovaries produce eggs or ova and are passed through the fallopian tubes to the uterus where these eggs are fertilized by sperms, if any sperms are available at that time. Ovary cancer affects these ovaries. Let us take a look at some of the signs and treatments usually done for ovarian cancer.

Let us always keep in mind that cancer is not like common cold and can?t be treated in that way. Some cancers show signs at a very early stage whereas some show signs only at a later stage. Usually there are no specific signs just for ovary cancer. Signs usually show up at a later stage and these signs are also associated with many other medical situations. So it is pretty tough to draw out conclusions when you face certain symptoms. At a beginning stage ovary cancer remains silent and signs start popping out only when the tumor has got big enough to affect other parts of the body as well.

The only earlier symptom known to be associated with ovarian cancer is the irregularity of menstrual cycles. Later symptoms include excessive pain or pressure in the pelvic area. You might feel terrible pain while having intercourse; a slight swelling of lower abdomen is also a symptom at a later stage, feeling of fullness and an urge to urinate frequently, constipation is another situation associated with ovary cancer at a later stage.

Nausea and also vomiting is noted at a later stage, frequent diarrhea and forming gas, abdominal pain due to fluids formed and etc. These signs however show up at a later stage and one might mistake these symptoms for some minor health issues. Always get a check up when you come across any symptoms; a stitch in time always saves nine.

Treatment of ovarian cancer is usually chemotherapy and surgery. In the early stages only the ovary infected with cancer cells and that particular fallopian tubes will be removed. But if the stage worsens, even the uterus will have to be removed along with ovary and fallopian tubes. The preventive techniques are basically stopping ovulation or preventing ovulation, like taking birth control pills, getting pregnant so often, tying the fallopian tubes. However these are not 100 percent guaranteed preventive measure.

Keep a check on your health from time to time. If there are any symptoms that show up frequently then get it clarified. Regular full body checkups can be of great help as you can figure out things that go around in your body. Health is always wealth, so try to always save some budget for your health and always keep you health insurance valid. Maintain a healthy lifestyle and eat healthy.

You should consider taking regular workouts and a proper routine that your body will find peace with. If everything goes well you can stay away from such situations to a great extent. Ovarian cancer is a dangerous situation, and make sure you do everything from your side to prevent it.

Background to Malta
Malta is a Mediterranean Island with remains going back millennia to prehistoric times. UNESCO has placed six of the above ground prehistoric temples on the World Heritage List, some of which are thought to be the oldest free standing buildings in the world. The providential arrival of the Apostle St Paul around 60 AD, introduced Christianity to Malta, and was to help Malta become known as the island of Paul. The attractions of these sites, and the visits paid by visitors throughout time, have led some to describe Malta as the Central Mediterranean holy island. The Knights of the Order of St John tried their best to increase this religious interest in Malta, as they tried to create a pilgrimage route to Malta, by supporting the creation of the cult of St Paul. Today, there are many sites, traditions and legends that are connected with this cult.

The Maltese islands were home to the Religious Military Order of St John (now better known as the Sovereign Military Order of Malta) from 1530 to 1798, and this led to an increase in religious manifestations, especially during the Baroque period. Today, the many parish churches are lavishly decorated, well kept, and a good portion of parishioners are highly involved in the organisation of the annual feast to their patron saint.

The islands of Malta are a veritable showcase of religious traditions.

Visit the following sites for further information:
The official website of the Malta Tourism Authority: http://www.new.visitmalta.com/
The website of the Institution of Tourism Studies: http://www.its.edu.mt/

The Centre forms part of the Institute of Tourism Studies, the only post-secondary Institution in Malta that prepares the future workforce for the important Tourism industry in Malta. During its brief time since established, the Centre has organised art exhibitions, public talks, thematic cultural walks, and has hosted foreign experts to give talks to students and academic staff as well as the general public.
The workshop will be held on the premises of the Institute, at St George?s Bay, St Julians where all the lecture rooms are well equipped.

Access / Transfers:
Malta is well connected by air from all the major airports of Europe.
Many budget airlines fly to Malta, while all the major airlines provide scheduled flights to the island.

Brattleboro Reformer, Vermont Paper, Makes Embarassing Typo In Headline (PHOTO)

Calling all copy editors: There's a newspaper in Vermont that needs a new one.

Brattleboro, Vt.'s, local paper, the Brattleboro Reformer, made headlines Thursday in more ways than one after it printed a front page headline with a conspicuous typo. To make matters worse, the error was then repeated two other times.

The Thursday, Dec. 27 edition of the Reformer lead with the headline, "Let is snow, let is snow, let is snow" -- an error that was pointed out by Gawker's Emma Carmichael, who hails from the small, northern town.

The error was also noticed by Jim Romenesko, a media blogger and former Poynter Institute employee, who posted a picture of the newspaper with the caption, "How the heck did this happen?"

The Reformer's executive editor, Tom D'Errico, responded quickly, posting an apology for the error on the same day the slip-up occurred.

Writing that there was no real excuse for the error, D'Errico then went on to detail many, including holiday understaffing, an earlier nightly deadline and technical issues.

He continued:

Again, none of this is an excuse. There is no excuse. But, I take a little comfort in the above-linked Romenesko post that shows human error is not Reformer-specific. When people are tasked with several stories or pages a day six days a week, usually rushing to get the work done, it's clear mistakes will be made. The challenge is making sure few, if any, make it on the air, in print, or online.

Powerful Commercial Real Estate Tips That Make A ... - Maynas Eric

Purchasing real estate related to commercial purposes is a lot different from purchasing a home. Here you will find some effective ideas and tips to help you get started in your commercial real estate project.

If you are trying to choose between two good commercial properties, think big. The difficulty in securing financing doesn?t increase linearly with the size of the building you are buying. Generally, this is much like the principle of buying in bulk; the more units you buy, the lower the price per unit.

Think about the environment around your property. Should a problem with environmental waste ever occur, it is your obligation to properly clean your building and property. Are you considering purchasing a piece of real estate in an area prone to flooding? Think twice. Talk to an environmental assessment agency to learn more about the area where the property is located.

TIP! Engaging in a commercial transaction often takes more time, and is more difficult than simply buying a home. Keep in mind, though, that the complexity is required to ensure that your real estate investment gives you a high return.

One thing that can throw commercial investors for a loop are dramatic changes in interest rates over time. In today?s economic market, interest rates can vary greatly, which puts an investor at risk of losing a great deal of money. Keep this in mind when looking for property, and consider the long term options that you have.

You should always know how to get in touch with emergency maintenance. Be sure to find out who takes care of maintenance in the building and also who handles emergency repair situations. Keep the phone numbers in a convenient place, and know how long it will take them to respond if needed. Work with your landlord to create a contingency plan in the event that an unforeseen disaster occurs; this will allow you to avoid customer service or public relations nightmares.

TIP! Whether you are buying or selling, don?t shy away from negotiation. Make your voice heard and strive for fair market value pricing.

When considering a piece of property, you must pay close attention to the surrounding area. A business located in a well-to-do neighborhood might be more successful, since the potential customers will be able to spend more. Bargain-oriented goods and services will find a more receptive market in lower- to middle-class areas.

Secure appropriate financing before going forward. Commercial property loans and the establishments that finance them are not the same as the world of residential home finance. They are actually superior in a number of ways. Commercial loans general require a large down payment; however, most lenders will allow you to take an additional loan out to cover your down payment.

Before you buy commercial real estate, make sure you have a firm vision of your goal for the property. What are your plans? Do you want to lease or start you own business there? Have clear and specific goals before looking for commercial property. It will save a lot of time and effort with your narrowed-down results.

TIP! If you are viewing more than one property, you may wish to create a checklist for each site. Take initial personal responses, but don?t go further without the property owner knowing.

Before you can start using the property you?ve purchased, you might need to make some improvements. This may be simple changes such as painting or rearranging furniture. Many times, changes include reconfiguring the floor plan by moving walls. You should pre-negotiate the cost of these alterations with the landlord, and try to get them to contribute towards at least part of them.

Size is highly important when you are searching for space for your growing business. You should purchase commercial property which will accommodate expansion in your business, so that you don?t find yourself having to hunt for a larger space again in just a few years.

You should put an ad out for your commercial real estate when it is on sale, do it locally and out of town. It is a mistake to think that only people in the immediate area will have an interest in your property. There are a lot of private investors who like to buy properties that are not in their direct area if they are affordably priced.

TIP! Know your needs before you even start looking for a commercial real estate. List the qualities that concern you most in a property (e.

Look for a broker firm that is honest. Start by asking them about how their money is made. Their answer should be discussed openly. Don?t hire a broker if he can?t adequately explain how helping you with the transaction will benefit his firm. If you don?t understand how the company benefits from transactions, ask questions to clarify the issue.

There are many things to learn about the commercial real estate market. Be certain that you apply the advice from the preceding paragraphs to get fair deals that meet your needs and expectations of the property you deal with.

The Assassins of Te'i Sai have begun to move, and the land is drenched in blood. Do you have what it takes to survive this epic battle of stealth, power and deceit?

This page is for the characters with combative prowess. Please list and detail your character's current stats and skills for all to see so that there is no confusion as to the capabilities and performance limitations to which they are governed. To give the example and to get it out of the way, I am posting Shadow's "strengths" first so that you all can analyze it and provide the same listed strengths as I provide, albeit in accordance with your own character and not mine. This page will be updated as the RP progresses whenever training periods come and go, or when certain battles are over and/or new weaponry or clothing is acquired (and yes, clothing can make a difference). So please do check back regularly and make changes whenever appropriate.

Thank you!

So, here we go!

Shadow

Shadow's body to arm ratio: Shadow is 6' 0" tall, however, his arm span is slightly longer a 6' 1". This means that Shadow has a longer reach than most men who are 6', as their arm length will typically be less than their height which gives him an advantage in combat against men of his size or within a two to three inch margin.

Shadow's weight: Shadow weighs approximately 190 to 200 lbs of raw, lean muscle which is above average for one of his size. The average body weight for a healthy young man at 6' is approximately 170 lbs. That extra thirty pounds makes him deceptively powerful thanks to his lean frame which disguises the true depths of his power.

Shadow's reaction time: Shadow's reaction time is 120 milliseconds +/- 5 milliseconds depending on the number of distractions in his immediate area. The average healthy and active human being's reaction time is about 250-300 milliseconds. I think you can do the rough math on that one. Lol.

Shadow's clothing: Shadow's jacket weighs about two pounds and is black leather. His vambracesare coated with Orichalcum, and weigh twenty pounds each. He wears black gloves as well which have Orichalcum coverings across each finger for protection when he punches hard surfaces. These coverings weigh about a pound each, for a total of five pounds on each hand. Shadow's shirt is lightweight and flexible, as are his pants which are held up by a belt which weighs no more than a pound. Shadow's boots have Orichalcum toes and souls, each one weighing about a total of about ten pounds. His greaves weigh thirty pounds each, and are also coated in Orichalcum. When combining the weight of all of the Orichalcum he wears, coupled with his two Orichalcum daggers which weigh forty pounds each, Shadow is wearing a total of approximately three hundred and twenty pounds of extra weight.

This means that Shadow, at any one time when he's fully dressed and prepared for combat, weighs in excess of four hundred pounds. This makes him comparable to a human tank, being almost immovable thanks to the weight of the Orichalcum covering his body. Add in the fact that all this weight does very little to slow him down because of how long he's worn it and trained in it, and you'll start to see just how strong Shadow really is.

Shadow's speed: Some of the fastest boxers on Earth today can only get in about six to seven punches per second when they really go or it, and even then they're cutting their punches short by not retracting them all the way back to the waist. Shadow can punch from the waist about eight times in a single second, and that is when he pulls his fists all the way back to his waist each time. No short punches here.

On the same note, Shadow can kick at over 90 mph, +/- 5 mph, when he really goes for it. To give some perspective, the fastest competitive martial artists alive today kick about 70 mph with a "flick kick", which is to say that they kick for speed and not for power. The impact of a 90+ mph kick, when coupled with Shadow's strength, can literally decapitate a human being inside their own body by severing the skull from the spinal chord. Though it does not break the skin or muscles in the neck, the fact that the skull is removed from the spine defines it as a decapitation.

Shadow's eyesight: Shadow's eyes are more suited to nighttime, which is why his vision at night is 20/5 and his vision in the day is 20/10. Obviously, this has to do with the fact that his eyes are red and can glow, but I won't divulge the secret to that yet.

That's about it! Whenever you have the time, please provide the same overall stats for your character to show us where they stand and what they can do. Obviously there are some liberties taken with these stats, so don't feel completely limited by "reality". Though this RP is going to be as realistic as possible, this pertains primarily to the laws of physics, and not the limitations of the human body which is why Shadow is so strong. Have at it!

Four Stabbed at Family Christmas Party - Alameda, CA Patch

    By Bay City News

A Christmas gathering at an Alameda home turned violent Tuesday night when one family member stabbed four others, an Alameda police sergeant said.

The stabbings were reported at 10:18 p.m. at a home in the 400 block of Willie Stargell Avenue, Alameda police Sgt. Jeff Emmitt said. The victims were three females and one male.

A female suspect was taken into custody at the home, Emmitt said.

Some of the victims were taken to hospitals for treatment, but none of the wounds were considered life-threatening, he said.

Emmitt said it appears the family was gathered at the home when an argument began. At some point during the argument the suspect used either a kitchen or pocketknife to stab the four others, he said.

    The case remains under investigation.

Le Grandeur Palm Resort Johor Bharu ? A weekend relaxation ...

Posted By Sy On 27 Dec 2012 @ 11:52 am . Under?Kuala lumpur??Tags:?johor bharu, le grandeur palm resort jb, resort hotels??

Sometimes work gets overloaded on your shoulders and it?s an excuse to get away temporarily. We hooked up on a stay not too far away from home and found ourselves in a resort getaway at Le Grandeur Palm Resort Johor Bharu. Room sponsored by BestHotelOnline.com and hosted by Le Grandeur Palm Resort Johor Bharu, once a property of 5 star Sofitel and Mecure.

Hidden from sight of the bustling city and painted with an inviting sight of the greens, the Le Grandeur Johor Bharu appears as our private car drifted into the premises. 2 mins drive from Senai Airport where local flights land and depart, 10 mins drive from Johor Premium Outlets where shopaholics will find themselves window-shopping or grabbing any sales of luxury branded goods, 30 mins from Legoland Malaysia, the Le Grandeur Palm Resort is located close enough to the heart of newly-opened tourist spots.

Influenced with its balinese designs, i took a deep breath and knew i?m totally on the well-deserved holiday with the contemporary-furbished designs that greeted us into the hotel lobby. Topped with an open-concept lobby and the sparkling blue waters just steps away, the urge of relaxation filled my mind totally.

Smiles are the first things i was attracted to upon my wait at the check-in. Served with cold chilly towels and tea, it did refresh me of my surroundings that awaited me to explore. With the breeze and bustle surrounding my senses, i couldn?t appreciate more of the nature settings conquering the resort.

Ascending against gravity, the pyramid-bricked roof, coconut trees, free-foam pool and the mountain view was captured at sight. The amazement with a state of disbelief captivated us with the freedom and fresh gush of air filling the vicinity.

Every rooms in the Le Grandeur Palm Resort JB are en-suited with a private balcony that overlooks either the greens or waters. Staying on the second floor of the resort is just a reach away from the fresh air that we need it most and for those who like more bustling activities, a view of the waters might cheer you up further.

The crisp breeze filled our balcony as we were absorbed with the views that totally announced a mode for vacation. Plush pastoral field of grass appeared right in front of us and refreshed our senses that were previously exhausted.

Picture what we meant? Well, that?s how stylish the balcony is with lots of space sufficient for a bbq gathering (though you can?t do that!). Don?t forget to include sunset and sunrise on your check-list as it has one of the best reasons to wake up early on a vacation for photo shots.

A plate of tropical welcome fruits and a greeting card are pleasantly presented to every guests on their entry of the room. If you?re feeling hungry for a quick bite and that you can?t leave for the views, that?s something good for the hunger and a healthier diet.

Coffee and tea minibar packets are made available to guests coupled with bottles of mineral water and a room service menu for the instant hunger solution at any time of the day all without stepping out of your cosy room.

Laid with thick white bed linens and additionally-topped with a balinese-influenced linens across the end of the bed, it was never a second thought to jump straight away onto the blissful comfort. Cushioned with 2 fluffy soft pillows and a smaller pillow, tuck into a good night sleep in the sound of nature.

Everything is settled automatically from light controls to air conditioner and more from a main control switch. Save the trouble from reluctantly leaving your bed just to switch off a light or fiddle around the remote control to tune to your desired television channels.

Marble-feel bathroom brightened by 2 side mirror-lights and oxidised by the small green in the bathroom, all amenities include soap, shampoo, bath scrub, shower cap, toothbrush and comb are readily placed for use.

Soak and laze in the full-length bathtub and be pampered with premium soap and shampoo while you?ll be drenched in comfort under the shower.

If you?re one whom loves quick shower, head over to the separated shower for a full rainfall of warm waters. The shower and toilet is margin by a frosted glass, thus ensuring the privacy you need within the boundary.

More to do in Le Grandeur Palm Resort Johor Bharu

Located in its seclude premises, you don?t have to blame it for the inconvenience because you can have bowling, squash, arcade, swimming serious laps around the olympic-sized pool, paintball for the friends and families and a rewarding spa massage at Le Spa. For the food-lovers, there?s always restaurants and bars to hang-out while you immerse in the green paradise.

    Spa Relaxation @ Le Spa

Prominently situated at the lobby, we were greeted by Miss Jamilah, the spa manager of Le Spa whom welcomed us to the spa. There?re a few massages that you can try such as the full body massages: Detox, Calming, Sports & Muscle Rub and Rejuvenating as well as foot and hand massages. We had the opportunity to experience the full body massage and took up a calming massage to cool down our fast-paced life.

The Le Spa had all its massage rooms tucked in a corner overlooking the lush of greens and you?ll be invited to walk down an alley before ushered into the room for the massage treatment. All rooms are away from the bustling activities and therefore, you?ll be able to enjoy the massage all in peace.

The couple room ensures the upmost privacy for couples and friends with a private bathroom. Neatly laid with thin white cloth on the massage bed and adorned with herbs and spices in the room, it was a good time to get away and unwind in the spacious room.

The couple room has a bathroom fitted with all the necessary amenities and a bathtub as well as standing shower which is similar to the room we stayed in. Disposable underwear is also supplied for your massage session.

A towel is also provided for guests to change up, which we expected a bath-robe instead. Upon lying down flat on the bed, there?s a towel wrapped around the head-rest which we didn?t feel it was sufficient to comfort the face ? perhaps more cushion required to support the face. The pressure applied by the masseur can be requested and i thought that ample focus was made adequately from the feet to the head. I felt radiant and energized right after the spa session which was an absolute choice to make before you start a vacation.

Warm ginger tea is served after the spa massage at the lounge where you will be all calm and relax and then greeted with all smiles on our opinions for feedbacks.

Dressed in traditional kimono, we were served in style and ushered through the wide selection of dishes on the menu. Advance booking is recommended as the restaurant is quite small and spaces might be taken up as fast as you could?ve imagined.

Sashimi based with a pot of ice and wasabi are some heavenly must-have at SOBASEI. Succulent and fresh with its soft bite, you will desire one slice after another.

If you like it fiery hot and richly-gravy, the curry rice don is suitable for slow appreciation of its strong aroma and succulent beef to pamper the taste buds.

Cool it down with an almond jelly submerged with an ice cream scoop or the popular gui ling gao sweetened with longan for a remarkable ending to a sumptuous dinner.

PFT: Brent's BAC twice legal limit during crash

    Stefan LoganAP

When Lions return man Stefan Logan fielded a kick at the 4-yard line on Saturday against the Falcons, he did something extraordinarily stupid: He took a knee and downed it. At the 4-yard line.

TV cameras caught Lions coach Jim Schwartz calling that, ?the f?king stupidest thing I?ve ever seen.? Now Logan has been benched.

?I won?t be [returning kicks] this Sunday,? Logan confirmed today. ?I?m mad, but at the same time there?s nothing I can do about that. That?s coach?s decision. I blame myself. I?m not blaming the coaches, I blame myself. I?m my worst critic.?

Logan didn?t have much of an explanation for why he downed the ball.

?It was a messed up play by me and I have to live with it and move on from it. It?s just a bad play by me and I have to pay the consequences and I have to live with it. I just have to work through it and just be ready for whenever your opportunity comes back up,? Logan said.

Schwartz said that if Logan can?t be trusted not to down the ball at the 4-yard line, then he can?t be trusted to return kicks.

?Part of a returner?s job is to know where he is on the field. Saying ?I didn?t know where I was, I thought I was in the end zone,? is not a valid excuse. Your job as a returner is to know where you are on the field, particularly after we had gotten a safety,? Schwartz said.

Frankly, Schwartz?s decision to bench Logan is long overdue, regardless of his bonehead play last week. Logan is dead last in the NFL with a 21.3-yard kickoff return average and 16th with a 9.1-yard punt return average, and he has six fumbles this season.

Still, Logan is confident in himself going forward.

?Things happen. I didn?t lose the game,? Logan said. ?The game was already over. So it?s not like I lost the game for us, but you can look at it however you want to look at it. We?ve all struggled as a team so far. Not just one individual. I?m like the quarterback on special teams. When the camera goes on special teams it comes straight to me so if anything happens on special teams as far as muffing a punt or a guy running into me or something like that it?s going to be my fault because the light is on me.?

The reality is that Logan is wrong when he says the game was over. It wasn?t over. The Lions were losing by 13 points with 1:21 remaining at the time of Logan?s blunder, so they certainly weren?t in good shape, but teams have come back from being down 13 with 1:21 remaining and gone on to win. In fact, just this season the Lions came back to force overtime after trailing the Titans by more than 13 with less than 1:21 remaining. In that game, Logan fielded a kick with the Lions down by 14 with 1:16 remaining. Fortunately for the Lions, when Logan downed that kick he really was in the end zone. (Apparently Logan thought at the time that the game was over, but his teammates still fought their way back into it.)

Logan?s ?the game was already over? statement doesn?t speak well for his competitiveness, but Logan said he still expects to be an NFL return man in 2013.

?I?ll just keep moving forward whether it?s with Detroit or another team,? he said.

Given Schwartz?s comments about Logan, it will probably not be with Detroit.
